Dr. Brown's Company is Hiring a Paralegal Near St. Louis, MO

The Paralegal performs routine law-related tasks under the direction of a Senior Paralegal and the General Counsel. Provides support to the Legal Department with regard to researching legal matters, drafting and filing legal documents, preparing reports, and documenting requests. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.

  • Assist with and coordinating the preparation, drafting, filing and organization of legal documents (such as contracts, legal memos, correspondence, and responses to regulatory agencies)
  • Review marketing, advertising, and product packaging for legal and regulatory compliance
  • Research and gather information for the preparation of routine documents.
  • Obtain and organize legal documents
  • Assist with the review and preparation of corporate documents, including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, and contracts
  • Oversee and support the contract process and database
  • Perform various tasks related to intellectual property
  • Assist with proper record retention and destruction
  • Assist with monitoring deadlines
  • Monitor the most current industry issues and communicate on topics related to changes in law or emerging issues
